Chapter 6 and Chapter 11

Chapter 6
I would prefer to teach in a classroom with more digital technologies because it gives students more chances to become interactive and interested in any lesson being taught and as a teacher I am able to more than I would be able to without digital technology.  With scanners and digital cameras I am able to create folders with documents of what students have done over the years that can go with them though out their schooling. They can also be used for students to do more about me projects with taking pictures or scanning pictures into a project. Digital technology is also easy to use, students can use it with minimum instructions and teachers can use with little to no practice. The space digital technology takes up is little to no space at all. Although digital technology can go wrong at any time it is still great to have in a classroom.  I would not have any lesson plans that depends on technology but in a lesson to help interest students well learning. These are just a couple reasons as to why I would want a classroom with digital technology.
Chapter 11
There are many different ways that audio and visual technologies can be used in a classroom. There are many traditional and emerging technology devices that have been used over the years.  A traditional piece of visual technologies is an overhead projector. An overhead projector can be used in many different ways in a classroom and with any subject to show notes and pictures.  For example, an overhead projector can be used for going over vocabulary with the class. With an overhead projector it gives a way for visual learners to see the word and definition well it is being talked about. An emerging visual technology is the internet. The internet has been evolving over the year and is now a great way to use during lessons in the classroom. For example, the internet can be used to find videos related to the lesson plan. A traditional technology device for audio learns could be a tape recorder/record player. These devices can be used to record and play back a lesson the teacher is teaching, such as a lecture or even a teacher reading a book. This gives the audio learns a chance to replay the lesson or book when they need to. An emerging audio device is an IPod.  On an IPod books can now being loaded onto them for audio learners. This gives them a chance to read a long while the book is being read to them making it a great technology to have in a classroom. These are just a couple different traditional and emerging technology devices can be used in a classroom for audio and visual learners.
